Interior Light Question

I had searched through the forum and couldn't find an answer to this question.

I have a 2004 Grand Cherokee and the interior lights do not come on when I open the doors. Is there a way to enable this or something I should check? I don't have an owner's manual to check - the dealership should be getting one.

Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this issue?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Interior Light Question

Is it just the drivers door or all doors it does that with?

Re: Interior Light Question

I own a 1999 WJ limited and on mine you had to put the switch on the blinker handle to the right position in order for the lights to come on when you open any door. I down loaded the 2004 manual by typing it into google. All I have is the pdf form or I would send you the url.
