Messed up hood paint....CF or re paint?

So when I bought my jeep the hood looked like this. I originally planned to have it reprinted, but after seeing the CF 3m stuff and pricing cost of paint, I was thinking about just wrapping it with the 3m CF. would match my interior CF.

Thoughts and opinions

I really don't know how it got like this. It's scratched, but they are nice even strips. Like the paint shunk and opened up. It's weird

#1 do not c.f your Hood, want to be in the next fast furious 7?
The white that's showing is it paint or the metal of.Hood? When ya run nail across the scratches can.you feel them or smooth across? If.you have a local Detailer try there see is its a blemish or something. Before you repaint your Hood or find a used Hood with that color

There's nothing wrong at all with CF, if it's done right. I don't think CF would look good with the color of your Jeep though.

Re: Messed up hood paint....CF or re paint?

If you do anything you should wait.... real carbon fiber can be painted like regular car parts, so if you kept it the same color as your jeep currently no one would ever know and it is the most lightest stealthiest mod available. Just keep that in mind for a few months you may want to save up your money for something I will be producing very soon on here that I am working with. I can't say much more than that with out giving details.
