They came within a week, or maybe 2 don't recall. Only thing though is if you want Halo's(like a BMW,or bright in the day so you can use as DRL), do NOT buy normal headlights. Buy CCFL ones, worth the money. Here's what my headlights look like;

And yes, you do use the same bulbs for aftermarket headlights, though it is suggested that HID's look better with projector headlights. Best of luck on your decision!

These pictures are with the Halo's wired in(they are on, but not bright at all) I recently just disconnected them so they aren't even on, and it looks much better :-)
Love these! Were they hard to install?

For me, it was a bit difficult prying the balls from their sockets(the headlights have 3 balls that go into sockets in their area), the balls were super rusty, and hard to get out. Other than that it was easy to set them up, Dash-Z Racing, sent me instructions and the wiring was pretty easy, just make sure you got plenty of extra splicers, and a wire crimper. The hardest part is getting the wires away from the ball and sockets, and fitting the headlights in.

I didn't have the same problem. The hardest part of mine was getting the damn things to pop back into the "ball hole."

Maybe if you'd quit jerking around and actually take the time to properly grease your balls, you wouldn't have these problems guys. Come on!

Here are my Gen3's with CCFL (I de-ambered):

Re: New style projector lights question

Oh, BTW...I highly recommend them, and yes you can use stock bulbs in them. Output through a projector will be less than stellar with a halogen bulb. You can always upgrade to HID's later though. That's what I did.

Mine came off E-bay...same DashZ as others have mentioned. They seemed to have the best deal with free shipping.

TJXJWJ, you are going to make me broke. Now I want fogs, SRT rims and LED tail lights. Killing me!!!

Is there any problem with moisture getting inside the gen3 lights?

Thanks to everyone for the info!!!

I haven't had any moisture, I did however have nearly a quart of water in my stock headlights before I changed em with the Gen3 ones I have now

Re: New style projector lights question

It's this forum...it makes you want to spend money. JeepGarage is to Jeepers what sales at the mall are to most ladies.

I have absolutely no issues with moisture in the lamp...and I opened these up to de-amber. I re-sealed with 3m's WindowWeld, which is basically a butyl rubber packing, but out of the box, they stayed moisture-free.

I've always been a little leery on buying e-bay parts, but with these...I don't see a quality problem whatsoever.

Amen to that, if my wife knew more about computers than me I think she would block this site!
