Funny part is that I can't enjoy MY Jeep because my wife is the one always driving it. She likes it soo much, I think she'll divorce me if I ever sale it. She approved immediately new gen3 headlights purchase. Never expect it is that easy to keep wife happy!

1) I agree but real enthusiasts do the research and the retrofit themselves without having to rely on a 3rd party to do it. I see people all the time bragging about a retrofit they have when 3/4 of the time a company has done it for them. Real satisfaction comes from knowing that you took the knowledge that was out there and applied it yourself.

2) Any kind of projector is a better improvement than the stock lights. At least most are smart enough not to stick a PnP into the stock lights.

3) The LED: Halo Projector thing is obviously just a description of the features. Look at BMW, They have CCFL halos wrapped around their projectors. Obviously it's a popular industry wide OEM or aftermarket accessory.

4) What are all these colored "levels" of Jeep banners? That a visual indicator of the level of donator/contributor you are?

Re: New style projector lights question

Is it just me, but don't you buy these headlights/install halo's because they look cool? Regardless of what way you get them, we're all in the same club.. *Know what looks good on a car*

Are you referring to their CCFL's moving? I never noticed that. I wonder why they do that?

Well not only that, But they're a good performance upgrade. I've heard the Gen 3's are a huge upgrade over the stock lights in terms of light performance. I've never used them before though.

Re: New style projector lights question

They are a huge upgrade with HID bulbs...no question.

And no, I was talking about the projector itself moves on some of the higher end models. The halo's don't move. My dad's got a Beemer that when he turns it on, the projectors adjust and aim themselves.

lol that figures, Those adaptive lighting systems on some luxury cars are awesome. Especially when it's one that adjusts during turns.
