Unhappy OEM Fog Light Installation question

i have a 99 cherokee laredo, it did not come with fog lights so i want to add some more light to it. But my problem is that once i cut out the vents i would have no were to mount the lights themselves? I bought a wiring harnesst and the OEM fog lights only do i have to make my own brackets?

Re: OEM Fog Light Installation question

There's an OEM part that you sit the fog light housings in and it secures itself to your bumper. If you buy the whole Mopar kit it's supposed to come with it. I'm not sure if you can buy it separately from the dealer. I'm sure you can make brackets for it fairly easily if you would rather.

Re: OEM Fog Light Installation question

I always thought it was stupid they put those slotted grills in place of fogs on non-fog equipped WJ's. Why not just leave the hole unhampered?

BUMP!!!

So did you ever get to instal the fogs. I too have a 2000 laredo that am planning on doing the fogs. Did you ever get the fog housing and is so where from, or did you have to fabricate you own. I looked into Mopar and they are damn expensive $ 125 as compared to $60 on Ebay.

Anyone out there who may offer some help on this. Need to know where I can get the fog housing.
