painting laredo molding trim

i know this happens to everyone over the years the door moldings and the bumper covers get faded and get all nasty after u wash it or rains and i have to put armor all and still in some spots u can notice it so i wanted to prep it (on a budget) and spray paint it but i wonder if there is a better way to do because i dont want it to look all nasty with over spray and i also want to paint my grill ama paint it black same color as the jeep

Re: painting laredo molding trim

A cheap alternative that worked for me was making a 50/50 mix of Paint Thinner and boiled linseed oil.The thinner softens it up and then pulls the oil into the covers and I got great results on my truck.Just rub it on and then wipe it off.Very important to remember don't leave any rags or the containers holding the thinner and linseed oil in your truck. Those rags can ignite on their own
