Re: parking lights with fog lights on

I only use my fog lights when I am driving in actual fog. I never drive with just the parking lights on. I do sometimes use just the parking lights when I have to park for a few minutes at night. (like to take a piss)

I turn my headlights on in any kind of bad weather especially rain. But only use the fog lights for fog.

I see a lot of people driving with their fog lights on all the time, I personally don't see the need for it, other than just as "cool guy lights".

I don't even like those blasted "daytime running lights" that GM has on everything they sell. That is one of the reasons that I chose a Jeep.

Why have lights on when it is a clear sunny day.

However what I really hate is people that drive in the fog or rain without any lights on!

Yeah, the Jeep auto lights work pretty well, but I see alot of morons driving around in the rain or fog with out any lights on. I am sure they think that because their vehicle has automatic head lights, they never have to turn them on themselves sometimes.

I have to admit at that time the DRLs may be a good idea afterall.

Re: parking lights with fog lights on

For me its just personal preference. I think it looks bad ass even if its clear as a sunny day lol. And they help night driving as well. I guess for the day time they r just for the "cool guy look" but I like them

Re: parking lights with fog lights on

I always have the fogs on at night because they provide nice fill in light closer to the vehicle They would help even more if they would stay on with the highs. I'm going to bypass that one of these days.

Moe, does your halos produce much more light on the road? Do they help?
