Projector headlights and fog help

Hello,

I am going to be doing a headlight and fog upgrade on my black 2001 grand Cherokee limited. I was wondering If anyone has used these lights.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...t_10672wt_1030

I like the look but wonder how much of the light will be blocked out do to the slight tint in the lens. I am also going with HID kits for both headlight and fog. Either 4300k or 5000k undecided. It doesn't list what bulb filament I would need for either the headlight or the fogs. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Scott

Re: Projector headlights and fog help

the headlight housing uses all the same size bulbs as the OEM housing so 9006 high and 9005 Low as for the fog light housings i'm not sure what type of bulb it takes

Alot of us WJ guys have the Gen 3 Housings but most of us don't have it tinted we have the clear version, so to answer your question of how much light will be blocked i'm unsure ..

Re: Projector headlights and fog help

Thanks Ryan!

Looks like we have the same jeep! I'll probably go with the none tinted ligjts since my main goal is better lighting. Although the tinted would probably look pretty sharp. Im in the process of adding some mods, going for the black out look. I can order the lights and fogs and then order my hid kits once I see what type of bulb the fog lights take. Im
assuming I would need a harness for both the fogs and the headlight if I go with the HID
kit. Rims and tires are next as my rogue chromes are peeling bad and developed leaky rims!

Thanks for your help,

Scott
