Question Those of you with HID's in the stock 99'-03' fogs.

1) How is the output with the stock lens?

2) Can we get any night shots of the fogs alone?

Re: Those of you with HID's in the stock 99'-03' fogs.

if your looking for looks just pop them in what ever color you want.
just when it rains, snows, or fog you might not see that far out and have a reflection.
also on 35 HID, 55W can melt the platic

the fog housing is not meant for hids, so light will scanter all over the road.
if you want more light pick up a pair of 9005 bulbs and adjust the fog lights.
the 9005 bulbs will pop right in

1) Alright I can dig it, I think I'm going to go with a 35w 3000k kit since my lows are 55w 4500k's.

2) Can 55w really melt the plastic lol?

3) What kind of fogs are you running? Clear, Fluted (stock), or Projector? How are your results?
