Smile Using Halos as a DRL

Alright, so i have a question about using Halos on the GEN III Projectors, if its possible to use them as my drl's and then use my projectors and halos when i turn on my driving lights( parking lights) however you want to call them. is this a possibility?

Re: Using Halos as a DRL

It's possible, I have both my halos on a toggle switch and my LEDs on a toggle switch. I can run with only the headlights/marker lights on, just the LEDs, just the halos, all on, etc, etc.

I'm sure you can, just tie them into the park lights. You flip the switch forward one time and your running lights and Halo's will come on and then flip it forward one more time for the headlights to turn on and your DRL's and running lights will still be on.

Re: Using Halos as a DRL

I was going to do this with mine but the LED halos didn't stand out during the day, CCFL ones do though.

Was going to get a electrician to wire the halos into the fuel pump relay (Ignition on source). Ended up just wiring them into the parking lights in the end.

Re: Using Halos as a DRL

Thanks guys for the helpful feedback, Another question. If its not too much to ask, could someone either send me into a thread or a write up of how to do that or briefly explain how

It's not too hard and no we don't mind helping with any questions you have. If you know anything about splicing, you take the wires that run from the CCFL's or "Halo's" and splice them into the parking lights.

You might be able to use these Scotchlok pieces from V-LED's for an easy splice job.
