Re: who's interested in a custom hood?

I don't think they make anything as far as body kits go for WJ's. I vaguely remember a place called Iceland Offroad maybe? They had some pretty extreme fender flares and bumpers, but nothing that would probably look good for a street set up.

They had one of the best looking front bumpers out there for a wj but they have gone out of business

Re: who's interested in a custom hood?

No shogun doesn't make the kit anymore that's why I said used to make lol. And I agree, the kit is way overboard. I just like the hood.

Re: who's interested in a custom hood?

lmao Tony! Like that pic I put up a while ago lol. I think for the WJ a hood with functional scoops and maybe some kinda side skirts, don't know what would look good for the rear. I don't care much for the way the Shogun looked either.

Re: who's interested in a custom hood?

A rear end that would incorporate the exhaust would be nice...or that hides the gas tank a little better.

Re: who's interested in a custom hood?

I agree. I wish they made something like the '06 srt8 exhaust in the middle. One guy on here supposedly has done this to his (exhaust exits in the middle) but he never posted pictures of it.

Re: who's interested in a custom hood?

Here is kind of the style I was thinking. Have the scoop stretch the width of the raised section of the hood.

SRT Style Exhaust
I have seen your exhaust. I think there was someone else with dual tips almost like the srt. I dig yours tho.

functional would be great. Just not sure how to go about making it that way. It would also be cool to make shaker hood. The factory intake box that hooks to the throttle body allows for the perfect mounting for the shaker.
