And I am 99.99% sure that the reason they say they won't fit is strictly because of the difference in lens color on the lower part of the lamp. Laredo uses an orange reflector, limited and overland do not

Good call on not using the ugly amber bulbs, I've stayed with them for far too long.

i emailed, and got a response... tell me if this guy is full of sh!t or not... this is word for word, copy and paste what he said...

"Hi,
They will not fit because of the grill mount and bracket mounts on the headlight are different from the regular models.
Thank you

Best Regards,

Peter Wong"

grill mounts different? what is defined as a regular model? wouldnt Laredo be regular? i think ive missed something, given this Wong guy is correct...

ive gotta agree, that amber is ugly. i had a blacked out Blazer, and the amber turn signals threw off the appearence. i hated it. i promised myself the next vehicle i mod will never have that color.

i was thinking about using amber bulbs just to keep the police happy, some of them are @$$holes. and i dont want to have to fight about it.

idk... yet to be decided. lol

The sellers full of it, the headlight and taillight assemblies should fit no problem. For my Halos and LEDs, I just run 'em to two toggles.

thats what i was thinking about fitment. i was pretty certain they would fit, judging how you can swap Limited lights for Laredo lights and such.
toggles is a good idea, i didnt really think about that. i was just going to follow suit and wire them in to the parking lights or something. lol where did you mount your switches at? i was trying to find a good place to mount the switch for my amplifier, and i was going to do the fog light mod so i can keep them on with the high beams on, which i also need a switch for.

heres what i am talking about :

Why did you want to upgrade to the round ones? To have an updated appearance?

i was going to upgrade so i can have projector fogs and HID fog lights. (believe i saw some on eBay)

Tony, i was thinking that also!
also, Wong sounds like a chinese name... shouldnt they be selling BOV's and turbos for their little 1/2 liter Honda's instead of Jeep parts?

Re: WHY!? Can somebody explain the difference in these CCFL Halo/Projectors?!?

I mounted my two toggles (one for LEDs and one for halos) by left side of the center console, zip tide 'em to the black air vent for the feet. I never use the floor vent setting and I haven't had time to properly mount them yet, but it works for now. And my tail light LEDs I just wired to the tail lights.
