wiper blades don't fit right...

alright so my WK is gone, and for the time being I'm driving my sister's WJ. she doesn't keep up with maintenance so well so I was going through it and detailing it and such, and I picked up the wiper blade to clean the windshield and the blade just fell right off of the hook. I tried to clip it back on and it was like the hook is too big for it, so neither of them are actually held on the vehicle really. they didn't look like they were bent out of shape or anything. just plain too big. are all WJ's like this? can anything be done about it? let me know if I sound crazy and I'll get pictures or something. and excuse my rambling/horrible paragraph structure but I realllly need to go

Re: wiper blades don't fit right...

sounds like a wiper blade issue rather than a wiper. try some new blades/ or maybe a pic to see what you are talking about....

Re: wiper blades don't fit right...

In the winter time while I go to university, I end up having to pump gas at the gas station....so what I'm getting at is, Ive seen this problem before. Its either the hook, where the only way the wiper sits on the hook nicely is when its on the winshield.....or else the wipers are incorrect for the housing, either way, its the wiper, not the hook.

Re: wiper blades don't fit right...

the plastic clip that pops on the the blade is broken and dose not stay on the u hoke of the wiper arm.

if you get new blade it will come with the part.
if they are old and not taht greta anymore the cheap autozone one work good and most walmarts have good ones for cheap
