wj content: headlight restoration and blacked out grill

Ok so this is my first mod the my wj and I really like the outcome. Very small but Im broke with 2 kids so bear with me. Tried the new heavy duty headlight restoration kit from meguiars. not bad but I need to re-do them with 600 grit to get the harder oxidation off.
before

after with blacked out grill

Looks way better! How much better are your headlights now? lol If you have time, I recommend taking out the whole headlight next time you clean them. I found that it was easier to clean and I did a better job when I could move the headlight to the angle I wanted.

Why did you only go black on the inner half of the grille and not the whole thing?

Thanks man! I was going to but I just figured I would see how good it did in the first place. I dont like the whole grille blacked out, looks cheap IMO. I think with the surround still color matched it kinda pops a little more. May consider getting a chrome surround, it will match the headlights more
