Re: wj HID low beam kit

Alright, talked to Tony. There was no miscommunication, he recommends always using a relay for the low beam kit in all circumstances. Il use it then

the relay sends the power to the ballasts directly from the battery instead of through the oem wiring harness.

Re: wj HID low beam kit

Finished the install today and it looks great. I used the factory ground on the side of the fender. Here is a quick picture I took with my phone before the headlights housings were screwed back in.

Re: wj HID low beam kit

sure, i will when I get home. I had to use a different ring terminal on the end of the wire though. The ones on the ends will fit on the negative battery terminal but not on the factory ground on the finder. I used something similar to this that I had laying around the house, not sure if its the same size as this one though.

Re: wj HID low beam kit

I dont think you will need a picture from me. Look at this pic of the wk, its pretty much in the same spot on the drivers side of the fender. i used this ground and then on the other side Tony told me to use the battery for a ground. I didnt look for a factory ground on the passenger side. The wj's battery is on the passenger side, opposite of wk.
