Which bulbs did you buy (links? ) and are your turn signals still amber? I'm assuming yes! Thanks in advance buddy, I wanna do this soon too! Looks sick.

Re: WJ Parking light LED conversion question

I know a lot of the WK guys were havin trouble with 6 ohm resistors and needed 3 ohms instead. It seems tho that 6 ohms will work for the WJs with no probs. Have you guys had any problems to date or are they still workin fine?

Re: WJ Parking light LED conversion question

I believe WK need two 3 ohm resistors (wired parallel) on each side.

WJ's will only need one 6 ohm each side. Funny thing my right dual signal stop working temporarily today (first ever issue) but I'll get back to you guys and let you know if theres anything bad.

Re: WJ Parking light LED conversion question

Rob, they seem to be working today just fine. Let me roll with it this weekend and I'll keep you posted. For specific bulbs you can take a look at my post right above for a reference.

I want to copy this but my only gripe now is that I'm going to manually disable my DRL's. They will be disabled (ie. not come on when truck is on) but is that enough for the switchbacks to work, or do my DRL's have to have the proper lowbeam relay etc. etc. ?

Just curious because on the website for the switchbacks it says that they will not work with DRL's, i hope my above ramblings made sense lol.

I'm just a bit paranoid because after paying $75 to change my country code, I dont want to shell out another $50 and have it not work lol I'll chalk up the losses ive already encountered to learning by trial and error haha

Re: WJ Parking light LED conversion question

Update, everything seems perfect, my bulb just popped out a little (so it wasn't making full contact) so its working great now. If theres any problem I'll let you know but I love this setup and urge everyone to try it out.

Honestly Im not too sure what your trying to do. So basically you want to disable the running lights but looking into using the Switch backs? I'll be honest Im not too sure if it can be done (since I never tried disabling the DRLs).

Basically. It says on the website switchbacks are incompatible with DRL's, so I want to disable my DRL's and run switchbacks ... sorry if I was unclear, would that work?
