Bump Stops for 2" Lift

Hey All! Another newbie lift question regarding the 2" RC spacer lift and shocks I'm having installed on my 04 WJ next weekend. The lift kit does not come with bump stops. Is this a must have to install bump stops with just a 2" lift? I'm gonna take a SWAG that it probably is so the shocks don't bottom out? If they are a must have where is a good place to get a set at a reasonable price and quick? I checked on the RC site and did not find bump stops sold seperately.
I'm trying to get all the parts and pieces together so hopefully the swap will go semi smoothly.
Thanks.
Greg

Re: Bump Stops for 2" Lift

You'll be fine with your stock bump stops with as long as the shocks are for a 2" lift or you're not running some crazy offset with your wheels.

Re: Bump Stops for 2" Lift

Thanks for the reply cheapjeep. I bought the kit with shocks for the 2" lift so I guess I'm good to go. Appreciate the response. Lift going on Sunday, 245/75/16 tires Monday or Tuesday. New 1" rear sway bar will be here Monday.
I was considering changing out all the coil spring isolators but I'll wait to see how bad they are.
Thanks again.
Greg
