I noticed the WK crew has an "official lifted WK pictures" thread I figured the WJ's needed one too
I also have an ulterior motive as I have not lifted mine but want to...with so many options I would like to see pics with descriptions of the kit used, springs and shocks, any other suspension mods done to make the lift work and be "safe" ...show 'em off peeps I need inspiration !
Think Outside !- No Box Required.
Just installed my 2.5" coils and Bilstein 5100's.
I also added .75" spacers on the front to level it out.
Running 275/45/20 Blizzaks on 20" SRT polishjed reps.
No Rubbing at all, looking to upgrade to Cooper Zeon LTZ's in the 265/55/20 flavor.
Here's some pics:
I have 4" bds, 3/4" spacers, fit 33s by putting radical bumpers and cut out fender flares. still rubbed! ground off angles on bumper. do not think 35s would ever fit with 4"
i see it has been a while since this post has been open but I am looking at putting in a 2.5/2.0" budget spring lift and am wondering if I need to look forward to any problems. Not having to increase tire size necessarily but trying to make easier to get into.(and level it out some.
I just installed the lift you are looking into. Got it on amazon for about $90 with shipping. Install was easy. I increased tire size drastically so I had to trim the front inner fender and need spacers because the rear tires are rubbing on the shocks when it flexes. But if you aren't increasing tire size you should be golden[emoji108]
Hey Guys, Nice Pics..I just ordered a 2.5Fx2R lift(coil spacers) picked up some 18's off a 2010 JK(my 99WJ came w/ 16's)..thinking of going w/ 31's..with that 2.5in lift on front should expect to make immediate modifications or can I roll for a bit and what should I anticipate..I imagine shocks and springs are soon but was wondering about stabilizer, sway, etc..THANKS ..chaz
