I noticed the WK crew has an "official lifted WK pictures" thread I figured the WJ's needed one too ;)
I also have an ulterior motive as I have not lifted mine but want to...with so many options I would like to see pics with descriptions of the kit used, springs and shocks, any other suspension mods done to make the lift work and be "safe" ...show 'em off peeps I need inspiration !
Think Outside !- No Box Required.

Honestly I think yours is the first red WJ I've seen so there must not be a lot of them. I like and would like more if you would please paint that front bumper already......jeez:lol:

Looks good Dustin! Why not give it the "Columbia" treatment with silver replacing the charcoal on the Columbia. I personally think the Columbia charcoal accent would look great against the red. Here it is from WJJeeps.com

I dont know that much silver down the side and it will look more like cheaps. I think I feel some rainbow tendancies coming on already :slapfight:

I was thinking I would paint the grill the same color as the front bumper instead of the body color like in the pic above. Maybe the rear bumper but I dont know about the side cladding, going for something different so just doing the columbia kind of defeats that.

I did have rubbing issues (in reverse). I'm running 265/70's because I got an insane deal so I figured I'd make em work otherwise I'd do 265/65 or 255/75. My bumper is actually notched on each side because the tread grabs the bumper cover and still does just a little bit. My fender liners are chopped and I am running a 1" spacer up front as well. Measuring the lift, on the rear those springs gave 3" of lift and the front were only giving 2" of lift so the spacer became a necessary thing to solve the raked front end. The tires fit much better but at full lock they to rub just a touch on the inside of the wheel well. Next time around I'm going to a 255 to see what happens.

As well in those pictures I'm not running the spacer; I'll have to post a newer picture up one of these days.

And blackbird; I do need rock rails....badly. I smashed my one rocker in on hells revenge... I had a few guys giving me crap for not having rock rails and doing hells revenge, and of course I finished the trail with a smashed rocker...fortunately the plastic cover protected the paint finish...
