Re: Need new shocks

I need to do shocks yesterday. Definitely will do Bilsteins but I still remember the difference the OME stuff made on the XJ.

Hey, as long as YOU are happy...that's all that matters. Sometimes you don't realize how crappy things are until you replace them. When I replaced my shocks, it felt like a whole new vehicle.

Exactly! The ride was a little rough, but I know the wj's are a little bouncy going down the road, but now that I have the new ones on, I can't believe the difference in the ride quality. It is like a whole new vehicle. I was considering selling it, but now I think the gf will get it and I will get something different. Maybe a wk or a friend has a xj for sale.

Re: Need new shocks

If you get a WK, expect an even bouncier ride stock. WK's really benefit from the Bilstiens as well. If your GF gets the Freedom Edition, she's a lucky girl.
