After 153k miles, and being forced off the road at 72mph (its a miracle I didn't roll), my WJ needs new tierods. Any suggestions? My mechanic quoted me at around $450 for the job, including the new rods at $62 ea.:D

Ask mechanic if you can bring your own parts. Get napa premium all 4 maybe 125 plus labor and alignment.

Yep, I can bring my own parts. The alignment was included in the $450 quote.

If you were closer I'd take you up on that offer, and throw in a steak!

I bought all mine from rock auto, 4 tie rods and stabilizer for under $150, did them myself, then down to the shop for a $75 alignment.

MOOG 100% all the way. They are bigger, heavier duty, all have grease fittings. they are the best out there. i grabbed myn off advanceauto.com used promo codes while seperating the orders out and ended up paying $50 per, then grabbed new moog adjuster sleeves for $60 together. did moog ball joints same time as well. really tightened up the truck. moogs warrenties are the best as well. NAPA i believe is moog as well.
