hey ppl, im looking to replace my stock shocks and ive been looking online but would not know what brand to go for if im looking for just a OEM feel and quality. not looking to raise my jeep nothing fancy just some good old OEM
any brands that i should look into or stay away from?
I was looking at this from what i hear monroe makes good shocks are they any good?
well as long as i dont hear bad things about monroe i might just pick them since i dont do any offroading nor i plan on keeping the jeep too long so i would save me a couple bucks
UpCountry suspension was an option that have additional lift and consisted of taller coil springs. IIRC they gave about 1" more on a new vehicle. I have read that swapping in the UC coils and new isolators easily gains 1.5" over the worn ride height. UC suspension was standard on the 2002-2003 Overlands and discontinued in the fall of 2003. You can read up here ---> Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ - Overland edition

quick update guys i decided to go with the monroe sensatrack since the monroe reflex were not available at the time.
Got them at advance auto parts for $90 a pair rear shocks, was browsing online and found a coupon on for $40 off so i ended up paying around $55 so i cant complain.
Shocks feel great they feel a bit more stable and stiff compared to the old ones and definitely a great improvement if you're looking for that stock feel.
the only bad thing about buying rancho shocks would be that simply because its called "rancho" and rancho being known for making shocks for off roading they are a bit more expensive witch would defeat the whole saving a couple bucks idea. so if rancho is made by monroe we know quality is good and i dont plan on off roading then monroes shocks would be a best choice
