Red face Steering stabs... advice needed

Ok, I'm addicted to lift. I have 2" daystars but would like to add upcountry springs. I saw a chart where steering stabilizers are recommended for 2.5-3" lifts. Thoughts? I'm just a poser, no wheeling involved.

If SSs are needed, what kind would you recommend?

Oh, and, what max size tire with no trimming? I was planning on 245/70/17s but if I got to upcountry springs, I may want a little bigger tire.

If I were you, I would upgrade. I don't think I've heard anything too bad about Rough Country's SS.

I've heard of many people going 255/70/17 without any rubbing at all, beyond that I don't know.

I am running 245/70R17 on upcountry springs without any spacers so you should be ok going up another size with the spacers.

Re: Steering stabs... advice needed

Stick with the 245s. They'll be just right at 3" As far as the steering stabilizer it really doesn't matter as long as it is a familiar brand. Tennaco makes most of them for everybody anyway. At 3" you're gonna want to start thinking about an adjustable track bar to get your front end centered under the Jeep. Your front end is gonna be favoring the driver side close to a 1/2" with 3" of lift.

Thanks everyone. Cheap, that's good to know. Any recommendations on the ATB?

JKS or Zone Offroad are good ones. I have the Zone.
