when do I need an adjustable track bar?

I have a 2002 WJ 4.0L selec-trac. I just ordered Moab wheels and 245/65R17 Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor tires. that's all the bigger I want to go for tires because it's a daily driver and fairly good on gas and I would like to keep it that way.

however, it's creeping up on 140k now and the original shocks are really showing their age. I know it's time for new ones so I was thinking while I was at it, I might just do a budget boost. I was looking at the Skyjacker 2" with Hydro 7000 shocks. for this mild of a lift, will I need the adjustable track bar? or will I have any alignment issues otherwise?

and will I need extended sway bar end links, or anything else like that to help accommodate the lift? I know it won't see much off road use, just occasionally bombing around in deep snow.

thanks for reading.

Re: when do I need an adjustable track bar?

You should be fine Dave. When you start going over 2" is when you start needing the other stuff . At 2.5" I could start seeing the offset toward the drivers side. When I added the 3/4" spacers it was easily noticeable so i pulled the trigger on a track bar and some end links.

This is a couple months old, but if you are still looking into this. I added a 2.5" on a 02 WJ and it's about 3/4 offset to the drivers side.
