Where are you guys finding your Bilsteins?

I'm looking for 5100s in the 2" extended length front and rear and having a rough time. Starting to get frustrated. Thanks guys.

Re: Where are you guys finding your Bilsteins?

I would guess their website. Here's a section on their site to find out where you can buy them in your area and I'm not to sure about any certain sites with the best deals on them.

There's a guy kolak from another forum that can sometimes get you some at a discount. You can send him a e-mail at kolak@aol.com.

These tend to go in and out of backorder.

Sometimes you need to order and wait.

Re: Where are you guys finding your Bilsteins?

I got my HD's from Summit...who usually has good stock on everything. 4WD.com may have them as well.

Re: Where are you guys finding your Bilsteins?

Thanks guys. Everybody has has the stock length HDs but no luck on the longer 5100s. Some have rears but not fronts. Even my old standby Summit let me down this time. Hopefully I can get a hold of Kolak. He seems to be extremely busy these days. What he needs to do is start up his web site again.

Re: Where are you guys finding your Bilsteins?

Kolak... HA! I would seriously steer clear of him for pretty much anything. I've had two really bad experiences with him and definitely know I'm not alone in that respect. I didn't even think he was in business anymore, for good reason.

I actually picked up Bilsteins a couple months ago for my WJ from Tire Rack, you might want to give them a shot. At the time, Summit Racing had them too but Tire Rack was cheaper.

Though some of the members may have had good experience with the guy I would steer clear of someone who doesn't operate his own website and just sells through E-mail exchanges. I'm sure you can find a more reputable dealer than that. If you don't have any luck online go to your nearest Autozone and have them order them for you. If there isn't an Autozone near you use this link to find a store you would wish to order them from.
