wj sway bars

hey guys, i've been looking to upgrade my sway bars. i have a 2004 wj. i was wondering what you guys think are the best and where exactly i could buy them. i've seen a lot on offroading sites but since i don't do any offroading i was wondering if there's any out there that you guys would recommend for street use.

thanks!
Paul

Re: wj sway bars

The best for the WJ are the F&R Addco sway bars...you can get them from summit racing

Re: wj sway bars

Yep, Addco bars is the way to go for the WJ!

I just bought the rear one and it did work pretty well, but it is recommended to buy both.

Oh, get the polyurethane bushes from Summit too or the squeaking will drive you nuts!!

Re: wj sway bars

New guy popping in again a question...

Will the upgrade to the Addco sway bar do much for a primarily city & highway driver? I've of course read wjjeeps.com write up on them, but being new to WJs (and Jeep in general) I'm not sure what the upgrade might actually improve. Anybody willing to try to explain in layman's terms? Thanks!

Re: wj sway bars

^^^^ It provides balance and stability with fast cornering..... wont tilt the vehicles body helping your wheels stay in contact with the ground at all times...

Re: wj sway bars

thanks! Is this one of those upgrades that you'll either know you need/want or something anybody would notice the difference it makes in terms of the feel of the ride?

Re: wj sway bars

Thanks again. Btw, love the look of your projectors. The (Acura) loaner I got from the place I bought my WJ has projectors and I totally want them on the Jeep now. I may be hitting you up for some advice on that front later
