ABS Light On....

I just replaced the main steel brake line that runs from the front to rear of my 2001 WJ (old rusted out) and now the ABS light stays on. I bleed the system and the brakes are working properly. Will this reset itself or do I need to disconnect the battery for awhile to let it reset? Any suggestions.

Re: ABS Light On....

Check this plug where it mounts to the driver side front brake hose bracket. It's on the frame rail between the upper and lower control arm mounts. You may have pulled it loose or damaged a wire when running the rear line past there.

Re: ABS Light On....

Cha Ching, when I replaced the line I unhooked it to route the line. Thanks a bunch that was the problem.

Thanks Just Added to your Reputation.
