Re: Brake calipers..
If you open the system you must bleed the brakes. If you change the calipers quick it will be less bleeding. But I found out that there is never too much bleeding brakes. The newer the fluid the better braking power! I found this out on a snowmobile. I had a 600 triple polaris. Never touched the brakes. My uncle has a 600 triple ski-doo. I replaced the brake pads on it and then cleaned the caliper and flushed the complete system. We went riding. I drove mine about an hour and then we switched. After 10 mins of riding I stopped and he said you can have you'rs back. His 4 fingers was a little sore from squeezing the brake handle so hard to stop. While when I was 2 fingers his brake handle to stop. I instantly noticed a HUGE difference. I never believed it until I flushed his brake system. So it's the same in a vehicle. When I changed out calipers I'll put close to a full bottle of brake fluid through the line just so I know it's clean fluid in that line and better braking.
