So...another opinion thread. IF I decided I was going to get a set of SRT reps for the WJ, what color do you guys think would look best against dark khaki?

Stainless brushed tailpipe
Stainless license plate frames
Brushed grill inserts
OEM Chrome front grille and front "skid plate"

What color wheels? Chrome, black, grey, or polished?

OH, BTW, if anyone has pics of a WJ in my color with any of these, I'd love to see them!

Usually I would say go with the black wheels, but since your vehicle is darker but not black I would say chrome it out. It will contrast well like the wheels you have now, just bigger and classier.

By the way, your WJ is one of the cleanest I have ever seen.

Thanks man...I try! The neighbors think I'm nuts when I'm outside with a hose in 30 degree temps.

Pimpin' ain't easy....:pimp:

I don't want to get too matchy-matchy. I did think about it, but if I ever decide to change it up I'd have a REAL hard time selling them.

I like the wheels to draw some attention and not completely fade away and I'm afraid that color matched wheels might do that.

black.

Stealthy yet noticeable to the discerning few.
That's exactly why I like it so much. Something that's different than most have. But not so different that it makes you completely stand out. I'm a big fan of subtle mods.

I like flat black stripes on gloss black cars. Changing the yellow in the WJ tails to red. Removing yellow from the WJ headlights. Then there's always black chrome. I would REALLY like to make the chrome grill on my WJ black chrome. Small subtle things that make it unique.

Dreamer's looks amazing...and even though you're saying it's not the same color, it sure looks like it in some of his pics. That's the direction I was leaning.

My problem is I've seen a lot of dark khaki Jeeps (Libby's, GC's, etc) with gray (anthracite factory color) wheels. I've seen them in chrome like mine...everything looks good. I have yet to see one with black wheels.

Black chrome is awesome. Just not so sure I want to spend the money on the wheels, and then again to have them "black chromed". Maybe I don't know enough about this finish. Is this a finish reps are available in?

although not the same color, you might get some ideas from one of the original members of this board. check out the link below.

Tuff decision.

I have the same situation and a similar style/color jeep.

Chrome or Black.... I would def. have to see both to pick a favorite (too bad you don't have that ability prior to shipping and purchasing - ha-ha).

I will likely end up with black. but i do love the chrome.

grey or black..both would look sick, imo grey would look sexy
