Largest tires possible on 2004 GC Limited?

Hey all- does anybody know what are the biggest tires I can fit on my 2004 GC Limited without having to do any alterations to the fender? Thanks

On a limited I assume you have 17" wheels? I was running 245/70R17s for a while and they just barely cleared, at least sitting in the garage and turning the wheel around. Never noticed any rub or noise on the road either.

In the summer I run on cooper zeon xsta 255/55r18's, I cruise on the Autobahn very comfortably at 160kph (100mph) with these tires the ride feels much firmer than the stock setup.

I had Kumho Ecsta STX 255/55 18 when I had my Jeep. The wheels were 18x9. Great ride, I have heard other folks who had my wheels go with 285/50 18 and even 245/60 18.
