Re: Need New Tires, Any Suggestions?

I have a WK but I went with Bridgestone Dueler A/T d695's they are a slightly less aggressive version of the Revo's and I love them, great on the street and in the snow. I had 235/65/17 and went up to 245/65/17. Here's a pic.

Re: Need New Tires, Any Suggestions?

Just like Robpp says the Michelin LTX is a great tire, quiet with plenty of grip in wet weather. I had a set of General Grabbers on a Cherokee and they were one of the best sets of non aggresive tires I have ever owned. I got about 40k out of them with very minimal tire rotation. Do not discount a set of BFG all terrains either. A little more aggressive of a tread but a overall great tire on most surfaces.

Here is a good link for a little more info for the the BFG and some other all terrain tires.

BF Goodrich "All Terain KO ",Very quiet at speed on paved hwy. Excellent in snow and with respectable traction in sand and mud but not for seruous mud fun.

Re: Need New Tires, Any Suggestions?

Has anybody heard any good things about the General Grabber HTS? They have it in 225's.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....andard%20Model

So far my choices are (For 225/75/16):

Goodyear Wrangler ST's (my current tires)
General Grabber HTS
Toyo Open Country (not sure about A/t's or H/T's, any help)
Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza
Pirelli Scorpions ATR

Should I look into 235/70/16?

Some options are

General Grabber HTS
Falken Ziex STZ04
Goodyear Fortera Tripletread
and a bunch of others.

Anybody know the fitiment for this size tire on a stock WJ?

Anyway out of the 225's which of those tires sound like the best choice.

Re: Need New Tires, Any Suggestions?

General Grabber AT2. These are the best all around tires I've ever had on a 4X4. Here's their link. Try Tire Rack for them. I cannot say enough good things about these tires.

They have 235-70R-16. Not sure if they'll fit.

LMAO yeah I saw their prices , see if I had an SRT I wouldn't hesitate throwing that amount of cash for tires but I have a WJ and well I care about it but just not that much . Man Im just looking for a tire that will do the job but be an improvement over the Goodyear Wrangler ST's.
