Srt8 Wheels on WJ

Hey,
I have searched the forum and found a few other posts on this, but I didnt run across any final answers.
My jeep is an 03 limited 4x4, totally stock.

I would like to get SRT-8 replica wheels (20x9 & 20x10), I believe these will bolt up just fine?

If they will, which tire size(s) would you all go with?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Srt8 Wheels on WJ

I just have 20x9's and I have 275/45's on there. I had a lot of rubbing but I think it was because my shocks were sagging. Everyone else with WJ's have no problem with this size with the Limited bumper...

Yeah, I've heard from TJXJWJ that 20x9's are the way to go. I'm sure he can do a wonderful job helping you out.

Re: Srt8 Wheels on WJ

Thanks for the replies. I'll just stick with the 20x9s to not have to deal with spacers.

Would it be possible to to do 255/45 in front, and something a little wider in back, maybe 275/45, or would it not fit the wheel correctly?

and Scott, could you tell me what size tires you have? i like the look of them.

It will probably rub so you should stick to 20x9's all around.

Re: Srt8 Wheels on WJ

I run 275/45's on all four corners and it is fine in the rear for sure. Most don't have to do any trimming. I think just getting 275/45's all around would be your best bet and that is what most WJ guys do around here.

Re: Srt8 Wheels on WJ

Thanks for all the help. I think I'll go with the 20x9's with 275/45.
Now it's time to price the tires out

Re: Srt8 Wheels on WJ

255-45 would be my suggestion...keeps your speedo working correctly too. The 255 with the 20" wheel gives you the same overall diameter as stock.

Re: Srt8 Wheels on WJ

I run 275/45/20 on mine and have rubbing issues when I turn near full lock. Only because I am missing a few clips on the splash guard in the wheel wells.

My speedo is now dead-on. Ie. 60 is 60 going by GPS readings.
