This may a stupid question, but sometimes my stupid questions pay off.

Can I go to a car junk yard and just purchase an actual 99 jeep grand cherokee tire and rim? I would feel more comfortable having an actual spare tire rather than just a spare tire with a donut. Will an actual spare tire fit in the spare tire well or will it only fit a spare donut tire? I hope my question made some sense, it made sense to me but thats not sayin much HAHAHA

You should already have a full size spare inside if you have a 4x4

Yes you can fit a full size tire and wheel in the spare tire well. Most WJs came with full size spare wheels from the factory.

Yeah, mine is a donut spare. It says it right on the rim "spare, limited use only" I am going to look for a full size as I would feel more comfortable.

on ebay there a tone of wheel for sale cheap if its a 16".

i would not trust the used tier you get so if you find a rim and tier take a good look at it
