Tire Fitment 2004 GC

I'm just checking to see if anyone knows if tire size 255/60R17 will fit on my 2004 GC with out any rubbing or interference issues. I will mount them on 2001 17 X 7.7 Jeep Rims -- the tires are listed on the Goodyear website to be 29.1 Tall by 10.2 wide as mounted on a rim 7.5 wide.

I think they should fit, but don't want to spend almost $850.00 only to find out they don't -- it's easier to check first.

Thanks,

Peter

The diameter is right on but i don't know the width of the stock tire. Measure yours, add half the difference to each side and see if you have clearance issues at full lock either way. Take into account the suspension moving up and down also.

I have 245/70/17 tires and they just barely don't rub. You would probably be ok as long as you aren't doing a lot of flexing maneuvers. Also, I believe goodyear still offers a 30 day money back guarantee if you don't like them.

My stock tire is optional at: 225/75/16 to 245/70/16. Good luck
