"Vari-Lok" rear on a "Selec-Trac" and Axle Ratios
Hey guys, hows it goin. I was recently looking at the specs on WJJeeps.com - Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ 1999-2004
and noticed that there is an option for a "Vari-Lok" rear end and I was wandering if I had it or not. I have a 2001 WJ Laredo with a 4.0 and "Selec-Trac" T-Case. Is there a vin code or other info on the vehicle that will tell me if I have this option? The link to the page where I found this is Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ - Specifications and dimensions
and it is under "Features, Options, and Package Groups" section. Another question I have is what is the stock axle ratio on a WJ I was reading and in the rear it is 3.55 with a 3.73 option but I have not found anything on the front gearing. I have a stock D30 rear and D35 front.
