Wj 17in tire size ??

I need to replace my GF's Trailblazer tires and my Jeep's tires 245/70/r16 tires would make a good replacement for them they are Firestone Destination A/T tires. They have 65% life left on them.... SO i am going looking to replace my stock wj rims with some 17in Rubicon Moab wheels and am looking at getting either a 245/65/r17 or 265/65/r17 Falken Rocky Mountain ATS tires. I will be getting a BB 2in pucks later along with shocks. I am willing to rub a little and trim temporarily but what would you guys go with? I just need to take care of my girls ride and "upgrade" somewhat mine... Her tire's are unsafe at this point and i need to take swap them out ASAP.... I wanted to do a 4in lift but i cannot afford it now and want to take care of two birds with one stone... I would appreciate any suggestions soon as i need to go to Discount tire ASAP. My girl's ride needs to be roadworthy ASAP

Re: Wj 17in tire size ??

On a 2" bb I'd stick with the 245/65/r17. I had 245/70/17's on a 2.5" lift and they rubbed at full lock.

You probably already got this taken care of, but you can run 255/65/17's on a 2" BB with those moab JK wheels. That's what I had on my '99 and never had any rubbing.
