Re: wj jeep grand cherokee wheels

i figured i jump into this thread since its the same as the topic i was going to create a second ago.

my question is would these IROC Z wheels fit my 2004 WJ overland? would i need to buy anything else?

link below:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

and also if i were to buy the replica srt rims - i know theyd fit but would i need ot buy additional products?

cheers-

the IROC wheels will fit....but the offset is incorrect(like a +15...so they will stick out from the fenders.

You also need a wheel that accepts TPM sensors. The SRT replicas do...so you can either switch your sensors over or buy new ones. That is it for the replicas...other than some locking lugs to help deter thieves.

Re: wj jeep grand cherokee wheels

Well you should think about that Atilla. You can drive them in snow but make sure you put a nice coat of wax on the to protect them form the salt. You can also keep you original wheels and drive those in snow and then switch them after when it's Spring.

Re: wj jeep grand cherokee wheels

you can drive them in the snow, they handle better than stock wheels because you have more tire on the road but you dont want to ruin your rims with the winter weather. im taking mine off sometime closer to christmas

Re: wj jeep grand cherokee wheels

I mean it's up to you man. If you think they can get you out of go for it if not keep you stocks until Spring then switch them out.

Re: wj jeep grand cherokee wheels

they will be fine in getting through the snow as long as you dont put summer tires on them but the only problem is getting salt etc on them in the winter.
