I was looking to see if I had it on my PC as well and nothing BUT... I wanted to see if I could upgrade my membership and you can only get it if you have a level 4 membership! Check it out and correct me if I'm wrong

So the "Thanks" button remains an upper level "benefit". Because my Android smartphones, Android tablet, laptops and my PC desktop are unaware of such a "button", thus I have been guilty of a Thank you thread clutter....

I will once again go to the PC and scour each word and symbol, for if it is there it surely is.....hiding in plain sight...

Yeah it still doesn't work for everyone because I was a level 1 member and I didn't have it. I upgraded to level 4 yesterday and I instantly had it. So don't waste your time looking lol.

You need to be a level 3 or higher member to get it

Re: A thought on the "Thanks" mod.

Of all the things to segregate to a higher level of membership, restricting the Thanks button seems silly to me. Thanking someone introduces a measure of civility and recognition for one's efforts, thoughts, etc., so to restrict that expression of appreciation to upper levels appears to send the message that mere members plus lower level participants have little gratitude for what they read/learn on this site.

Didn't the site owner state at some point in this thread that we should all have the Thanks button now?

Now I wonder if there is a secret handshake that some have and the rest of us don't....?
