how to embed a photo in body?

When attaching images, I usually do just that...attach via the manage attachment portion of a post, but that just atatches them seperately on the bottom after the thread body...
i'd liek to start a build thread soon...HOW do I get an image to be embedded in the body of the post rather than attached? so i can see it and type above or below it and add images as the post goes along? thanks guys

Re: how to embed a photo in body?

thanks Davy. I'll give it a try when I'm ready to do my build thread.. probably after the wheels are PD'd... BTW, thinking of doing it in the AM tomorrow.. was gonna go with the plastic bag trick and just peel excess off the tire sidewalls... gotta go all flat black.. couldnt find the glossifier in store and dont wanna order it ...also cant get the center cap off with the wheel on and dont wanna tape off a circle

i have 2 cans.. think i need more? maybe 4? a can a wheel?

im a little nervous about doing it.. even though i know its reversible and ive watched the tutorials. just dont wanna jack anything up.

Re: how to embed a photo in body?

looking forward to it! i nvr used PD on the wheels so cant help ya on how many cans BUT i think 2 can do. Maybe 3 to be on the safe side? Im not sure but a can per wheel might be overdoing it? From what i heard it's much easier to remove with more coats on. I used the PD on the mustang's emblems and it came out great.

Re: how to embed a photo in body?

I have found with the PD even if you don't remove the excess it falls off within a couple of days. Doesn't stick to the tire quite well. 2 cans is enough if you do thin layers. I used about 2 and a half. And Even touching up it blends right in. I used the garbage bag trick first, but those angles will kill you on certain rims. Make sure you have a good amount of light so you can see all the angles. It's tricky getting the spray upside down. You can use glose paint as the plasti dip provides a texture to stick to and it will come off with the plasti dip.

Re: how to embed a photo in body?

thanks a lot mtbrunner, yea i just left the excess on the wheels, you can barely see it and it comes off after a couple days of driving... i hear what youre saying about the plastic bag trick and for the most part it worked out all good.. on one wheel.. i missed 2 spots, but not even fully... you really cant tell unless you go up close to the wheel... i plan on getting it with a couple quick sprays on another day off.

and whats with the limo service?! we get spam on this forum now?
