Clicking noise in front passenger side

I have a 2008 Jeep Compass that has a clicking noise sounds kinda like those plasic things we use to put on our bike spokes years ago that click lol you can hear it more at lower speeds and it is concentrated on front passenger side I took of control arm replaced ball joints and tie rods ends and with that all of I turned to hub back and forth and heard the noise sounds like it in the strut did not hear it on drivers side when I turn the hub took it to the shop they said it was the transmission but I am not sure it is that does anyone have same problem and has anyone figured out what it might be.
