Compass Sunroof Drain tubes

HI! Just bought a used 2009 Jeep Compass. In great condition until we noticed the sunroof is leaking out of the dome lights and the floor board on driver side is soaked. We have found the tube underneath the dash but can't see where it is suppose to exit the car. Anybody have an idea or a diagram where the tube is to exit to drain? Only been able to find a video for a Jeep Commander and it is not in that spot. Thanks in advance for any help!

I have a 2008 Jeep Compass and is experiencing the same thing. I would like to know the same thing too. I just cannot imagine why this is happening when I have friends that have the same problem

Re: Compass Sunroof Drain tubes

Never did find out. Took it to a local body shop here after ordering the part from the Jeep dealership. They couldn't find it either so they routed it out somewhere to drain. No issues yet but we haven't had much rain...just some snow. Would still really like to know where that stupid thing is!!

Re: Compass Sunroof Drain tubes

Hi there, I purchased an '08 Jeep Compass in February. It looked brand new, with low mileage. I had the surprise of the leaking map lights about 2 months after I bought it. I got in the car, and on my way to work got a wake up splash of water in my face as I turned at a red light. The soaked floors have been a constant since. In August I had worse problems when everything on the vehicle went dead. Lights, gauges, locks, basically everything power, except the engine(worked great), windows and sunroof were fine, but the car was brain dead. I took it to a repair shop next to work, they told me they couldn't do anything because the dealer had to fix it. Took it for Appointment Sept1, two weeks later they tell me they are waiting on the part and it would be Nov before it came in. almost 3 months. Anyway I got it back in mid October in stead of the end of nov. Cost 781.00 to replace instrument cluster. Car worked great when I got it back, well for three days anyway. Then the locking problems started again. now my door locks work when they want to. I hope that you guys have much better luck with your Jeeps than I have been having. Since it is all electrical type problems. I am hoping that it is not being caused by the leaks through the lights.
