Of the three, the Clarion looks nice and seems to have slightly better output and more channels.

Dude, clarion hands down. Come on, what kinda name is jensen? lol

Alpine doesn't offer what you're looking for? Google Alpine D106, that's what I run in my WJ and its perfect!

Funny thing the D106 was my second choice but I went with the Pioneer because it had a higher pre amp voltage(4 compared to 2) and the user interface was nice especially with the iPod.

Your gunna want a decent head unit, Pioneer and Alpine make some great flip outs, Clarion has a couple as well!...Keep searchin!

Had A pioneer p6000 prior to my D106, and their ipod control is pretty spot on!

Re: 00 wj radio selection

If you are open to suggestions I run nothing but Pioneer and absolutely love it. The Ipod interface like stated before is perfect...

I know you said $600 was the upper end of your limit but for an extra $50 this is a beautiful unit...just my .02 though... http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130AVHP...neer+dvd&ssi=0

Re: 00 wj radio selection

Wow the new 5200 is sexy. I agree though Pioneer is top in my book. Go figure they add the built in bluetooth and album artwork on the screen.
