RB1 Nav 04 Overland

I have an 04 Overland. RB1 insntalled. I have a problem reading both NAV disk and regular CDs.
I have tried a cleaning DVD/CD kit, but that didnt work.
I keep getting "Disk Read Error". Anyone know of an easy fix? Or is this something that will have to be replaced?

Re: RB1 Nav 04 Overland

I do not know of any fix, but if I was contemplating replacing the RB1 I would look to a Double DIN unit. I have ordered the dash kit below, but do not plan on installing a NAV unit.

I am leaning toward this: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...H-P3300BT.html

If I need navigation I will use my phone...

The nav disk is the original from 2004. My CD is also an original. None of my CDs work.

I try to clean the lens with a cleaning CD/DVD, but it skips over all the cleaning tracks and goes to a blank track.

I have opened it up once and watched what was going on inside and there is something constantly popping up and down, I assume it is the lens.
