Re: May 16, 2012 SRT Engineers chat session

how will putting drop springs in the WK2 SRT effect the active suspension? Can drop springs be installed without any other suspension modifications?

The PCM flash has no bearing on the EVIC display. The Cluster must have been updated, also. The vehicle will perform the same, the names have changed to confuse the innocent. See the additional post on the 3-mode vs. 2-mode response.

If the spring rates are similar to the stock springs, there will be no adverse effect on the active suspension functionality.

I have a quick question.....I do not have an SRT although I wish....However, I have a 12 R/T Challenger with the super track pack.....The super track has upgraded suspension and steering, etc......are there any shared srt parts that go onto the super track pack that's from the SRT?

After a vehicle restart, everything is reset and functional again. The service manual states that if the code can be cleared, then no service is necessary. Are there any known issues like this with the ACC system?

Note that this reproducable problem only occurs when there is a large gap between the actual speed and the set speed. At speeds of 35-65, there is never an issue.
This issue does not sound familiar. We will look into issue and contact you offline. Can you confirm the software level of your ACC module? Please let us know the VIN of your vehicle too. Look for a PM from Drive SRT and we'll follow up.

Factoring in the 15% drive-train loss, would it be safe to assume that 470hp advertised is considerably lower than actual results? Would that mean the engine is putting out over 525hp + or - a few hp?
I like the way you think! We have to certify our output with an SAE witness +/- 1% on that day, at that time (ie there are some variances relative to atmospherics and those corrections that change the results day to day). As for our dynos they can run over the stated limit by a significant amount. By the way C8 has been upgraded considerably now. As for the real results those atmospherics can make a considerable impact on the measured output.

The R/T Super Track Pack uses the 2011 SRT Non ADS Shocks and springs

Is there a way I could get notified of this when it becomes available?

Re: May 16, 2012 SRT Engineers chat session

Thanks for being with us today!

One final question:

I have my "Free" SRT Track Experience to use. What track (collective opinion of all of you) would be the best/most fun track to do this? (Close to the mid-west anyway)

Thanks again guys for the info and the ride!!!

Re: May 16, 2012 SRT Engineers chat session

I recently attended my 2nd SRT track experience and was able to drive all of the 6.4 SRT models for the first time. I came away very impressed, it was an absolute thrill to drive all of these vehicles, especially on the road course. The event was well organized and the staff could not have been friendlier. THANK YOU for providing such a wonderful event, I look forward to attending my 3rd one next year.

The Jeep GC SRT8 was developed before SRT was a brand. I can't discuss future product plans so stay tuned.
