So the list of things that I could do to improve HorsePower on my I6 4.0L.
The things I have so far:
- Flowmaster 50 Series Muffler
- K&N Cold Air Intake 57 Gen II.
Need to get:
- Superchip Flashpaq Tuner
- Throttle Body Spacer (does it improve anything?)
What else?
Electric fan conversion?
MAP adjuster?
Larger injectors?
Ported big valve head?
Suggestions?

Dont buy a throttle body spacer. Waste of money. Does absolutely nothing for you.
And once you start messing with larger injectors and ported heads, you will need some custom tuning.

Well I wish they made supercharger kits or Turbo kits for my make.
Thanks for the suggestion man!

Well for some reason Scott it gave us a completely different website, atleast for me.
Edit: You posted this:

As for 4.0 performance I think member named Budakane might be able to help us. I recall he has a blown 4.0

Honestly, best thing you could do is trade it in on a V8.
