Question 2000 4.7L JGC A/C Compressor cycling On/Off

I bought a can of R134A (The one with the gauge and leak stop & oil) to add to the A/C system as it is not cold. The problem is the compressor clutch engages the compressor but only for 1-2 seconds at a time. I read on another Forum that the compressor can be jumpered to stay on while I add the can of R134A but my question is how exactly do I do that?

The Jeep in question is a 2000 Grand Cherokee Limited with the 4.7L V8

Thanks in advance

You could jumper the low pressure switch to keep the compressor on, but why not putting the refrigerant in and then it will stay on as soon as the low pressure limit is reached?
