Unhappy 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Last week the rear window on my Jeep stopped working and I was able to remove the rear panel in order to prop the window up into place so that it is no longer functional but it at least won't let any rain come into my Jeep.
Today, the same thing happened to the front driver's side window on the same vehicle.
What the heck's going on?
I can't just disable it like I did the rear passenger window because it wouldn't be safe to do so.
I guess I need to have it repaired at my local Jeep Dealer.
Any idea about the cost of fixing this window?
Is it expensive?
As a novice, can I repair it myself?
Thanks for any help you can provide!!

Re: 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee

sounds like they need regulators...which are pretty easy to remove and replace

x2

I have changed both my fronts. I think it's 4 bolts and c couple clips after you get the pannel off.
