Re: 2003 jeep wj blender door problems

Welcome to the garage.
Your jeep has the AZC (automatic zone control) system? It is normal for the blend doors to be closed some half a minute after switching the ignition in off.
Several modules stay powered for a shorter or longer time after ignition off. Simply opening or closing a door will already wake up the BCM ( body control module), but ultimately all power should be shut off. Only a very low power drain for some memory functions will stay. Is there any aftermarket equipment installed?

Re: 2003 jeep wj blender door problems

I had a very similar problem, and also with the noise and it turned out that my heater was wired up wrong and a wire was touching another, this is what was draining my battery , also it would be a very good idea to have a new battery which is what I did after being told by the AA my battery was years old despite showing it was in good use on the dashboard .
