2004 Jeep fixed

I just wanted to let everybody know that I fixed a small wire that runs from the body to the driver's door. It is the 3rd wire that I have fixed.
By fixing the wire I fixed the following problems.
My interior lights work like they are suppose to.
My power door locks work.
My power windows work.
The passenger remote control mirror works again.

Re: 2004 Jeep fixed

Yea, those WJs and some of the older XKs have a wonderful habit of ripping wires inside the door boot. I can't tell you how many people i have come into work for a new radio and speakers for a WJ or XK and i tell them that chances are i can replace the radio and speakers until i turn blue in the face and its actually going to be the speaker leads running into the door.
I once had a lady pick up a WJ from a random used car lot, she said she heard the radio playing before she picked up the car, when she picked up the vehicle the next day after all the paper work cleared, she had no audio. The lot told her the vehicle was "as-is". She brought me the vehicle, i pull it in, pull the radio, meter out her speaker lines, and they all come back as an open circuit. Pull off the door panel right quick, and you guessed it...no speakers. She threw a fit, acused ME of stealing her speakers, mind you i've had the car less that 5 minutes, and she's been sitting about 7ft from me the entire time. I laughed, proceeded to put her door panel in her trunk, thanked her for stopping by, and told her to have a nice day while i backed the vehicle out.
