4 Month without my JEEP - Help

Hi All

Yep, 4 month's. 4 months ago I overheated, had to have the motor re-done and eventually got my JEEP back, lo and behold, 300Km later the oil pressure starts fluctuating with the rev's. My mechanic recons its the bearings, and once again strips the motor, low and behold there are ridges on the crank, so he has the crank re-engineered, fit's new bearings and today I get my JEEP back...... 32Km later same sh1t...32Km can't be the bearings again, surely. WTF, what is he missing?

Any help, any one had a similar problem, hell anything, will be greatly appreciated.

Rgds

Patman.

Re: 4 Month without my JEEP - Help

yea, ive had the same thing happen to me a long time ago. I had some expensive engine work done where they had to take the engine apart to fix it. Took a couple weeks, got it back and a couple weeks later the whole thing is messed up and wont run. I gaurantee it was from the mechanic taking apart my engine etc. Thats why its good to find a place that has good technology, knows what they are doing, and has good customer service. i had to junk my cougar and get a new car.

btw, this was on a old mercury cougar
